Award-winning company, Loving Welsh Food, is delighted to be working with The Welsh House in Cardiff as the new venue for this year’s Taste of Wales evenings. The first event takes place on Monday 15th April 2024.

The Welsh House is an independent regional restaurant and bar showcasing the very best food and drink from within Wales right in the heart of the city centre serving locally produced, fresh, flavoursome dishes experienced in a comfortable relaxed environment.

On the Taste of Wales menu - a delicious 3-course meal at The Welsh House followed by an evening of light-hearted entertainment celebrating all things Welsh. Loosely based on the traditional Music, Poems & Pints evening – this contemporary event includes beautiful and well-known music, a limerick competition, not-too-serious poetry and the ever-popular Welshisms.

The partnership represents everything we stand for, setting the stage for Welsh suppliers to promote the products we’re most proud of. We absolutely love hosting the many visitors Sian and her team bring to The Welsh House venues."

Penderyn Distillery are delighted to be sponsoring the Penderyn Limerick competition once again this year, which is always a highlight of the evening. The lucky winner of the limerick competition will win a bottle of Penderyn Legend - a Madeira-finish single malt whisky.

No Taste of Wales event would be complete without some Single Malt Welsh Whisky and so Penderyn is delighted to be part of these events - they are a great way to sample our food, drink and culture."

Loving Welsh Food will continue to work with US-based Tour Operator Go Collette this year. From June 2024 to March 2025, family-owned Go Collette will be bringing groups of American tourists to Cardiff as part of their “Exploring Britain & Ireland” tour, the Taste of Wales evening is always a highlight of the tour.

The Taste of Wales events are held on Sunday and Monday evenings throughout the year from April to October 2024.

Tickets are available via the Loving Welsh Food website.  Evenings can also be arranged for groups on request. Contact sian@lovingwelshfood.uk for more information, or call +44 (0)7810 335 137.
